Bradley K. Gillen, Partner

Bradley K. Gillen joined the firm in January 2012 from the Federal Communications Commission, where he served as Legal Advisor to Commissioner Meredith Attwell Baker on wireline, broadband, and media issues, and as Special Counsel to the Wireline Competition Bureau Chief, working on the recently-adopted reforms to the FCC’s Universal Service Fund.

Prior to his FCC service, Mr. Gillen was the Director of Federal Regulatory & Senior Counsel for DISH Network, helping that leading technology and media company navigate the full range of content, equipment and satellite issues, primarily before the FCC and Congress.

Mr. Gillen practice is focused on media, wired telecommunications, broadband, and satellite matters.

Mr. Gillen graduated summa cum laude from Hampden-Sydney College, and earned his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.  Mr. Gillen began his legal career as an associate in the communications group of a major Washington, D.C. law firm.
